INNOAQUA Highlights Innovation in Aquaculture at Conxemar 2025

Innoaqua - Conxemar 2025 - Conference

Innovation in aquaculture was one of the central themes of Conxemar 2025, the international seafood fair held in Vigo, Spain. Held annually, Conxemar is one of Europe’s most important international seafood exhibitions.  This major event once again brought together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and explore the future of the seafood sector.

During Conxemar 2025, INNOAQUA project partner Grupo Nueva Pescanova proudly showcased its involvement in the project, contributing to the testing phase of algae proteins and other components obtained from these by-products. Their expertise in sustainable aquaculture and seafood production supports INNOAQUA’s mission to pave the way for a more efficient, responsible, and circular aquaculture industry.

The event served as an excellent opportunity to share INNOAQUA’s vision with stakeholders across the seafood value chain, highlighting the project’s commitment to innovation, resource efficiency, and sustainable food systems.
