Vitafoods Europe 2025 took place from 20 to 22 May at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, bringing together the nutraceutical community to explore new ingredients, market trends, and innovation opportunities. The event offered a focused space for industry exchange, with sessions and activities highlighting the future of nutrition and emerging solutions across the sector.
ALGEMY Represents INNOAQUA at Vitafoods Europe
As a partner of the INNOAQUA project, ALGEMY participated in the event to present the innovative ingredients they are developing both within the company and as part of the project’s research activities. Throughout the three days, the team engaged with visitors, shared information about INNOAQUA’s objectives, and distributed project leaflets to raise awareness about its work on sustainable aquaculturebased ingredients.
ALGEMY also connected with companies working on alternative proteins and omega3 sources, gaining insights into market trends and identifying potential complementarities with the ingredients being developed under INNOAQUA. These exchanges helped refine the understanding of the competitive landscape and opened opportunities for future collaboration.
Strengthening INNOAQUA’s Presence in the Nutraceutical Sector
Participation in Vitafoods Europe allowed INNOAQUA to position its research within a broader industry context, reinforcing the project’s relevance for companies seeking sustainable, highquality ingredients. By engaging directly with innovators, suppliers, and potential endusers, ALGEMY helped expand the project’s visibility and gather insights that will support the development and market readiness of INNOAQUA’s upcoming products.
