About I Congreso Iberoamericano de Alimentos 4.0

The I Congreso Iberoamericano de Alimentos 4.0, an inaugural event, aims to be a cornerstone for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and innovations in the food industry, focusing particularly on the concept of “Alimentos 4.0” (Food 4.0). This concept refers to the integration of digital technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, blockchain, and advanced robotics, into the food production, processing, and distribution chains. The congress seeks to address the challenges and opportunities that arise from these technological advancements, ensuring that the food industry can meet the demands of a growing global population while adhering to principles of sustainability, food safety, and efficiency.

The congress is structured around various thematic areas, including sustainable agriculture, smart packaging, food safety, traceability, and personalized nutrition. These topics are addressed through a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the current and future landscape of the food industry.

INNOAQUA’s Presentation by Algemy

At the congress, Algemy’s presentation of the INNOAQUA project focused on the integration of advanced technologies into aquaculture, a vital component of the global food supply chain. The project’s objective is to enhance sustainability, productivity, and efficiency in aquaculture practices, addressing the pressing need to produce more seafood with less environmental impact.

The presentation by Algemy was met with enthusiasm from attendees, who recognized the potential of INNOAQUA’s solutions to make significant contributions to the aquaculture industry. The event provided an invaluable platform for the project to connect with other experts and stakeholders, fostering collaborations that could further drive innovation in the sector.
