The INNOAQUA project, represented by project coordinator NORCE Norwegian Research Centre, participated in the 21st International Conference on Renewable Resources and Biorefineries (RRB2025), held in Turku, Finland, from June 2 to 4, 2025. The event brought together over 250 specialists from academia, industry, and policy to explore new frontiers in the bioeconomy and foster collaboration across Europe.
Vitafoods Europe 2025 took place from 20 to 22 May at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, bringing together the nutraceutical community to explore new ingredients, market trends, and innovation opportunities. The event offered a focused space for industry exchange, with sessions and activities highlighting the future of nutrition and emerging solutions across the sector.
From 13th to 15th May 2025, Leitat participated in the Food4Future – Expo FoodTech in Bilbao, a major international event that brings together leading innovations in automation, AI, packaging, logistics, and sustainability for the food and beverage industry. The event served as a valuable platform for promoting the EU-funded INNOAQUA project, which focuses on sustainable aquaculture and the development of high-value algae-based ingredients for food systems.
The Horizon Europe-funded INNOAQUA project is pleased to support and co-organise the upcoming workshop on nutrient in aquaculture and fisheries, hosted by the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP) in collaboration with NORCE, UNEP uPcycle, and a wide network of international partners. This three-day hybrid event, taking place from 10 to 12 June 2025 in Bergen, Norway, is recognised as an EU Green Week Partner Event and will contribute to the development of a UNEP White Paper on phosphorus sustainability in aquaculture.
