One of the main objectives of the INNOAQUA project is to extract high-added value ingredients from algae biomass, both macroalgae and microalgae, to be used in the formulation of innovative seafood products. In this sense, ALGEMY INGREDIENTS SL is taking an active role in the demonstration of the microalgae biorefinery in a pre-commercial scale, developing a sustainable single cascade extraction process suitable to obtain several ingredients that meet the food formulators needs and that can valorise the whole microalgae biomass.
The INNOAQUA Project represented by project coordinator NORCE and project partner A4F took part in the AQUA 2024 event held from August 26-30 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This prestigious event was organized by our project partner, the European Aquaculture Society (EAS), in collaboration with the World Aquaculture Society, and highlighted the vital role of aquatic food in shaping the future of our global food systems.
The INNOAQUA project, a pioneering initiative focused on innovative aquaculture technologies, was represented by project partner Algemy at the I Congreso Iberoamericano de Alimentos 4.0 on August 21-22, 2024. This prestigious event, held in Argentina, is the first of its kind, bringing together leading experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals from across the Ibero-American region to explore and discuss the latest advancements in food technology and digital transformation within the agri-food sector.
The INNOAQUA project will be featured at the upcoming I Congreso Iberoamericano de Alimentos 4.0: Aplicaciones en Gastronomía y Agroindustria in Concordia, Entre Ríos, Argentina. This prestigious conference, taking place from August 21-22, 2024, will gather over 350 participants from across Latin America, the United States, and Spain, including experts from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, México, and more.
The INNOAQUA project is excited to announce its participation in the highly anticipated AQUA 2024 event, organized by our esteemed project partner, the European Aquaculture Society (EAS).
